Join us for a meditative week of icon painting during Holy Week at Christ United Methodist Church in Greensboro, NC. We will be painting an icon of Jesus, the Good Shepherd in a quiet space of prayer, reflection and worship. The retreat will be led step-by-step by Kara Gillette, an experienced iconographer and teacher from Sophia Icon Studio in Boise, Idaho. All abilities are welcome. Cost: $400, includes icon wooden panel board, acrylic paints, including a set of brushes. A set of three brushes will be available at the retreat for $25, or you can bring your own.
